ROXANA HERZ, an expressive world of dreams and fantasies, where the question prevails.
Ladders, faces, spaces, abstraction, asymmetrical shapes, chromatic overlays, stains and different realities, determine the pictorial work of Roxana Herz, an artist that searches in the prelude of the subconscious, that is interested in dreams, the automatic descriptive method, capturing the moments of wakefulness, sleep and awakening.
Objects, beings, faces, eyes, allegories that take us to other areas, that seem to float in the space, looking for the evidence of their respective worlds, using the suggestive subtlety to understand the possibility of going further from the known appearance of the external reality that we are used to encourage and believe.
In her work there is a mixture of realities, environments, spaces, expressed through color, using more intense shades, degrades, intermediate shades, overlays and transparencies.
She is searching to connect the different worlds in an invented space, which she uses to join the different energetic environments that exist. That is why her faces are allegories, but also characters from her dreams. While the ladders and asymmetrical shapes are doors that open up to new paths to other realities that are there, that interconnect and combine with the space-time equation.
